Fees are to be paid when children are gone for any reason. This includes illness, vacation days, inclement weather closings and holidays. We, the parents, understand this is necessary to guarantee our child’s reserved space in childcare.
Daytime Care: Please send your children clean, well rested, and dressed for the day and fed (if arriving after 8:15 am). Please sign your child(ren) in/out each day. It is normal for some children to have difficulty separating from parents in the morning or not wanting to leave when it is time to go home. Please be very brief during these transition times. The longer you prolong the departure the more difficult it can get. The cut-off time for arrivals is 10 a.m.
We are open 24 hours 7 days per week. We are open year round with the exception of the stated closed holidays because there is no holidays, 1 annual vacation, 7 personal weekdays and 7 personal weekend days per year.
When you as parents have decided it is time to start potty training, we will be more than happy to help, providing that it is done when the child is ready. Some signs to look for include appropriate language skills to communicate the need to use the potty, staying dry for long periods of time, the ability to dress
and undress self, and interest in staying dry or clean. Dallas Darlings Daycare takes a very relaxed attitude towards potty training, children potty train easy when ready.
Occasionally provider may need to transport children in care for field trips or other activities outside of daycare home. All traffic laws will be followed and no child will ever be left unattended in a vehicle. Children will be placed in age/weight appropriate car seats as required by state law. Parents may be requested to provide a car seat for the day. Copies of emergency forms remain with provider at all times.
I will make every attempt to provide enjoyable and nutritious meals for your child. Please understand for your child’s own health that we can’t always accommodate their selective tastes. However we do offer a
variety of foods. Meal times are as listed. Breakfast is from 7:30 a.m.–8:15 a.m. Lunch is served at 11:45 a.m.-12:30p.m.,
Afternoon snack is at 3:45pm-4:00p.m., Dinner 5:30p.m.-6:30pm Evening snack 8:15pm-8:30pm. Should your child arrive
later than meal times you will be responsible for feeding them before coming to day care.
